1. I don't know what is Pixel Art. Can you explain it to me?
Ok. Pixel Art is a 2d digital art language, technique and aesthetics that is commonly associated with games. It's made of small colored squares, the pixels, positioned on a 2d grid (vertically and horizontally), with the purpose of composing a image of some sort, decided by the artist.
2. Why should i choose having pixel art instead of other art styles, like 3d art, Digital Painting, Vector Art, etc?
Done correctly, pixel art can achieve high-quality graphical outcome, having a great impact on your project. It's also a cheaper, faster and more easily adjusted art style than 3d or Digital Painting, which requires other techniques to be done, making the project take longer and being more expensive to handle. Pixel Art is versatile, so it's possible to achieve quality with the best style for your project goals. And affordable, compared to others.
3. What is the best pixel art style for me?
It depends on your project goals, but for every audiovisual or graphical project there is a pixel art style that match what you're looking for. Also there are two kind of styles you should pay attention when dealing with pixel art:
1. There is the pixel art style itself. Example: a 16-bit art style is different from a 8-bit art style.
2. There is the art style itself: Example: Anime Chibi art style is radically different from hyper-realist art style.
